Negative Supply Pro 4x5 Film Scanning Hood

The Negative supply Pro 4x5 Film Scanning Hood is designed for use with the Pro Film Carrier 4x5.

The hood securely mounts to your Pro Film Carrier 4x5 and reduces glare when scanning in well lit rooms, helping to preserve contrast in your scans. If you have a room with plenty of window light or if you have a room where overhead lights need to remain on, this hood will prevent excess light from negatively impacting your scanning process.

This hood is fixed to your Pro Film Carrier 4x5 with four integrated magnets, making it easy to quickly pop on and off when the hinge of the carrier is open.   This hood will not fall off on accident, but it’s also easy to quickly remove when necessary.  

This hood is designed to be opened and not strike your copy stand column when open for switching 4×5 negatives.  For smaller format single frame scanning, when the camera/lens are lower, the hood can easily be removed with it’s magnetic design to not strike your copy stand when switching negatives.

This hood is only compatible with the Pro Film Carrier 4x5 and not the Basic 4x5 Sheet Film Scanning Kit or ANY other previous generation 4x5 film scanning systems.
